Hee.. A bit siao le.. Anyway tomorrow will be having a party in the dormitary before heading to Doris to party.. Hope will be fun and fine.. Don't wanna get drunk coz I wanna remember the memories of celebrating my 1st birthday overseas.. And getting drunk isn't a very nice feeling.. What will I get here? I don't know also.. Juz got a card from my dear.. Feeling great.. Hope to receive more from others also.. Yeah.. I'm greedy..

Was having lunch with Christoph and Ringa juz now.. Then we were talking about the cottage weekend last week.. Ringa was asking how we thought about it.. Christoph replied saying he was quite impressed by the effort that they did for the Exchange students and ask if there was something similar in Singapore.. I told them I was the president of a club and usually organise events for the school.. They juz give me the shocking look and started to laugh in disbelief.. Haha.. Christoph said he was so honoured to be having lunch with me and we shared the same drink before.. Can't believe the appearance of me can be the president.. Come to think of it.. I can't believe that I am the president too.. For 2 years eh.. Life getting more n more interesting for me.. 1st year in poly.. I'm juz like any student till I became an Orientation Leader.. Year 2, I was the 1st president of the newly formed Information Technology Studies Club.. Learnt so much stuffs.. Year 3, even better.. 2nd time in a row.. Again President of INTSC.. Adding to that is my attachment here in Finland..

How I ended up here? Very interesting.. I juz applied for OSIP and stated I wanna go Australia.. But in the end I got rejected coz there were better students applying.. And I don't want Hong Kong or Thailand.. So waited a while and a teacher ask if I might be interested in Finland coz they are negotiating with them.. I replied okie.. And soon.. An email from Rovaniemi Polytechnic came and say I am accepted.. I was like WTF.. I didn't know anything and I got accepted.. I didn't know where is it so I checked where is this place.. And found out is at the northern part of Finland where average temperature is -20.. This is how I ended up here..

But come to realise it.. It might juz be some blessing in disguise that I got into Temasek Polytechnic.. I never had polytechnic in my mind during my sec sch days.. When I couldn't continue with my studies in Junior College, I remember a teacher told me.. It might be a blessing in disguise.. Come to think of it.. Everything happened so fast.. If not for my failure in English, I won't be a president of INTSC for 2 years.. I won't be able to come here.. So.. whenever there's a down, there's always an up..

Some Finnish Band for a change

Did you know? The Rasmus is from Finland.. Haha.. Now you know.. I didn't know till on the flight here I heard it on the plane.. Don't really know any Finnish songs though as you know I can't really speak Finnish.. Even now after 2 months.. 80 days here le.. Fast fast.. 40 more days.. Yesterday really had a surprise.. Finally received the mail which my dear sent 1 month ago.. Yeah.. Usually it takes juz about 4-5 days for larger mails.. Not matter what.. Still very happy to see it.. Contains pics of us, post cards of Singapore (which I suppose to use it for my presentation), letters.. So nice..

Juz had my most most relax theory test ever.. I didn't went for most lessons, took juz about 30 mins to study 6 chapters although I skipped the last few chapters.. So it was a paper with 18 T/F questions.. Then for the "long" answers, 12 questions choose 4.. 3 marks each.. To pass we juz need to get 10/30.. It's a 2 hour paper and I took 10 mins to finish it.. I don't even need to switch on my brain to think.. Juz see and do.. I won't say it's easy.. But don't need to study much at all.. No need to memorise a lot of things.. Won't do well coz I didn't study.. But if I study the way I studies in Singapore, I think I can answer everything correctly.. No mood to study here coz really in holiday mood.. Juz hoping to pass this can le.. And usually I do badly in T/F questions.. Don't ask me why.. Once I remember, 30 questions, I only got 10 correct.. The lowest in the whole lecture.. It was ehh.. OOAD I think.. Before the Director's cup last year..

So sian here.. Anyway people add me to your contact list.. So can spend time chatting with me when I'm bored

Tired.. Have to study for Software Engineering Test..

School again.. Like as usual.. Finnish Lesson in the morning then followed by Intercultural Communication.. Then come here to rot a while.. Can't do anything in Monday.. Brain always dead.. Bored Bored.. Nothing much to do.. Agenda for the rest of the day: Shopping for food for the week, Do some dinner, Rest, Study, Exercise, Shower and Sleep..

Update of the weekend in Leirikari
Left on Friday evening to Leirikari.. It's just a 40 mins drive to this cottage in the forest near Kemijoki (Kemi River). Really really nice place.. Nice nature.. Great relaxing place.. But then didn't turn out to be as fun as what I thought.. But overall still nice larz.. At least really party and got to talk to those I didn't really have chance to talk to coz different apartment and also to the Peer Consellors.

Mother just send me an sms saying I spend S$176 (70 euros) on calling.. Die die larz.. Haiii.. Tot I spent lesser time on the phone le.. But.. Haiii.. Anyway Sunday my birthday le.. Dunno when should I party.. I don't want to drink for 2 days.. So should I party on Sat night and count down to my birthday or Sunday itself? If Sat I think most prob most pple wanna go Doris also.. Sigh.. I prefer staying back in dorm.. So don't know how also.. Haii.. Anyway I going le.. Ciao..
